NEWSLETTER
2013 a New year bringing a bigger and better cultural week. Preparation has begun and the first filming for the adverts have taken place. Presenters Miss Haddie Ndour and Mr Eli Touray met up with Tanibir organisers for Friday 23rd of August. The first interview ran smoothly and successfully.
With a great turn out of the interview its’ already visibly clear that this year’s cultural week will go out with a bang and its guaranteed this year will be better than the last.

The Premiere of Shameful Deceit London Greenwich
Shameful Deceit Premiere

Shameful Deceit premiered at The Odeon Cinema in Greenwich on the 5th July 2013. It was purely a night of class.
Theodora Ibekwe was the Producer and leading actress. The Gambian SeneGambians Community came out to support our very own Fatima Jabbe and Marie Gomez in full. Both actresses played exciting roles in the movie and owned their characters , where Fatima played a cunning mistress and Marie was a young teenager abused by her father. We all enjoyed the movie to the last second.
The grand entrance for the beautiful actresses was truly worth its wait. We watched Theodora, Fatima and Marie walk the red carpet with pure class, sophistication and effortlessness.
The best thing was to see that this amazing event was able to bring all Africans together to praise and recognize our African actresses ant their best. The CEO of Yaram Arts and the Yaram team came to support as well.
It was a night to remember. Doors are beginning to open for our Gambian Actresses and we wish them great success in their career.
